Home Fields Teams Schedule 2010 Rules Events/Meetings

Each team has its own personality, level of competitiveness, and unique history. But all have the common goal of having fun on the field while improving softball skills and playing fair. If you aren't able to join a team this year, consider forming one for next year! For more information, contact Bernadette Stark: berniestark@gmail.com.

Teams 2010
Divas
Formally known as Canterbury Trails, we are dedicated to playing for fun and within the league's original philosophy of inclusion. Don't think there won't be team stratagy or friendly competition, though. We have a pretty full roster with perhaps a few openings for novice players.

Incorrects
For years, the Incorrects were a team of 20- and 30-year olds whose only distraction was players' dogs running onto the field. Today, we range in ages from late 20s to 50s, and while we are still competitive, we are very easily distracted by all of our new babies and children. So if you like to play softball, love kids, and want to have fun this summer with a great group of women, come join us!

Left Sox
The Left Sox are coming off another fantastic season playing softball and hanging out after games! We have players of all skill levels and are looking for women who love the game and look forward to playing every game. However, many of us look forward to each post-game hangout almost as much as each game! So if you would like to spend a fun-filled summer playing softball with a great group of women, then drop us a line.

No Nukes
"No Nukes of the North" is one of the earliest teams in the league. (Can you tell from our name?) We are a friendly, supportive group of women ranging in age from 20s to 50s. We like to win but what's most important is for everyone to improve her softball skills while having fun. We also like to go out for pizza after the games! We are looking for more players.

Red Scare
Red Scare has a dual philosophy: play our best (which hopefully leads to winning) and any woman — regardless of skill level — who is dedicated to the game gets to play. In our 20-something-th year, we continue our commitment to equality, fairness, and humor on and off the field.

Resolutes
We are a group of women who love to play ball and have fun. We are both laid back and competitive. Some of us have been playing for decades, and some have just begun. We have room for all levels.

Universal
Team Universal joined the league in 2007. We are comprised mostly of women between the ages of 25-40 who have a wide range of abilities. We aim to win, but our real purpose is to have fun! We currently have a full roster.

Womynrising
Womynrising has been part of the League for over 30 years. We are an eclectic group of ages and skill levels. We always try to play a good game and have a great time doing it! We love the social aspect of the softball season and after games the team can be found at various restaurants around town (we're usually the boisterous group in the corner). We welcome anyone of any skill level or age to join us.
